Huebner Named League Runner Of The Week
Freshman topped field at UIC Home Opener

Freshman Angie Huebner has been named the Horizon League Female Runner of the Week, the league office announced today. The honors comes on the heels of her first collegiate race, the UIC Home Opener.
Huebner finished 1-2 with fellow frosh Holly Nearmann, pacing the field on the two-mile course in 11:42. Behind the freshman fire power Milwaukee swept the four-team meet, topping UIC, Chicago State and the University of Chicago in dual-meet scoring.
The Panthers have this weekend off but return to action at the Parkside Invitational, Sept. 18, in Kenosha, Wis. The meet will serve as a preview for the Horizon League Championship as UWM is set to host the event on the UW-Parkside national course.
