Panther Women Take 30th At Roy Griak InviteSept. 24, 2005 MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Sophomore Angie Huebner was the Panthers' top finisher for the second-straight meet to lead the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's cross country team to a 30th-place finish at the Roy Griak Invitational, Saturday afternoon in Minneapolis, Minn. Arizona State took top honors at the meet with 88 points, while UWM was 30th in the 31-team field with 842. Huebner placed 102nd in the star-studded field, featuring some of the top teams in the nation. The Green Bay native crossed the line in 23:04, while sophomore Holly Nearman was also under the 24-minute mark, 140th in 23:36. Junior Kourtney Nault finished the race 198th with a time of 24:49, while senior Griffin McNulty was 200th and senior Katie Anderson was 202nd to round out the scoring for the Panthers. McNulty finished with a time of 24:56 and Anderson was three seconds back in 24:59. Also running for Milwaukee was juniors Kris Gasser and Maggie Seed finishing together in 210th and 211th places. Gasser posted a time of 25:47 and Seed 26:00. UWM returns to action next weekend with the Loyola Lakefront Invitational Saturday, Oct. 1, in Chicago, Ill. The first race gets unerway at 11 a.m.
