DAYTON, Ohio - The UWM women's volleyball team fought back from a two-game deficit to defeat Wright State 13-15, 9-15, 15-8, 15-11, 17-15, Friday night.

After tying the match at two games apiece, the Panthers fell down 13-10 in game five before rallying for the win.

"We weren't really completely on our match, but it's because Wright State was so tough," coach Kathy Litzau said. "I give Wright State all the credit."

UWM (20-3, 9-1 MCC), ranked fifth in the Midwest Region, has now won 11 straight matches. With the win, the Panthers moved one-half game ahead of Loyola in the MCC standings.
