The UWM women's volleyball team improved to 2-0 on the season with a three-game win over Furman on Saturday in the second day of the South Florida Tournament. The Panthers won the match, 15-5, 15-2, 15-8.

UWM's offense was strong, with a .295 hitting percentage in the match. Furman's hitting percentage was .088.

The Panthers were led by a pair of double-digit kill performances by their junior captains. Chrissy Schurla recorded a match-best 13 kills, while Laura Dallenbach added 12 kills. Sophomore Tari Boutin added nine kills.

Freshman setter Lindsey Spoden passed for 35 assists and Moira Coughlin tallied 15 digs.
