2000: Stepped in as a freshman and immediately helped the Panther attack, appearing in 100 games and all 28 matches...was named Midwest Region Freshman of the Year by the American Volleyball Coaches Association...earned MCC Newcomer of the Year honors...was named second team all-MCC...recorded an amazing 1,264 assists, fourth-most in single-season NCAA Division I Panther History…was named MCC Player of the Week Oct. 30 after leading the Panthers through a weekend sweep of UIC and Loyola...showed an ability to play the net in addition to her talent for distributing the ball, collecting 78 kills and 48 blocks...also led the team in service aces with 38...had 11 digs and 43 assists in her first college game against Boston College at the South Florida Tournament Sept. 1...recorded 14 kills and 36 assists the next day against tournament host South Florida...had 54 kills and 11 digs in a win over crosstown rival Marquette Sept. 12...had 15 digs and 61 assists against Ball State in the first game of the State Farm Illini Classic, then added 42 assists and 14 digs the next day to make the all-tournament team...made the most of a two-game homestand Oct. 6 and 7, helping out 54 times and digging out 17 against Butler on the sixth and collecting 40 assists and 11 digs against Wright State on the seventh...had a banner day at DePaul Oct. 18, putting up three season highs with 82 assists (third most in single-game Panther history), 20 digs and four blocks...assembled a 79 assist, 15 dig, four block day to beat then number-one Cincinnati Oct. 21...had 10 digs and 36 assists against Loyola Oct. 28...dug out 16 and posted 52 assists at Wright State Nov. 3...added six service aces and four blocks to 35 assists Nov. 11 against Cleveland State...one week later, put up eleven digs and 53 assists at the home of those same Vikings...had 16 digs and 69 assists in the MCC Championship Game against Butler.



Jefferson: Lettered four years in volleyball, earning all-state and all-tournament honors as a senior, along with all-conference honors as a sophomore, junior, and senior...was Minnesota's Gatorade Volleyball Player of the Year in and Baden Ms. Volleyball in 1999...made the All-State Sports 2000 Volleyball Super 75...led her team to a state championship as a senior...played in the state tournament three times...also lettered in basketball twice, earning all-state honorable mention honors as a senior and all-conference team recognition as a junior and senior, and in track once, earning all-conference honorable mention honors in 1998...was academic all-conference in volleyball, basketball, and track...was a member of the National Honor Society.
