Walker contributed by placing second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.21.
Joining their teammates in Friday's finals will be Teresa Braunreiter, Iris Perez, Sara Vanderloop, Marcia Roundtree, Katie Anderson and Katie Seep. Braunreiter will be competing in the 400-meter finals while Perez will compete in the 100 and 200-meter dash finals. VanderLoop will join Perez in the 100 and 200-meter dash finals and Roundtree will make an appearance in the 100-meter dash finals. Seep and Anderson will join McNulty in the 800-meter finals. Anna Christian and Kourtney Nault completed running events by placing sixth and ninth in the 10,000-meter run. Christian completed the event in a time of 37:27.05 with Nault finishing in 39:59.68. Rounding out the day, Kalin Konop placed fifth in the long jump with a distance of 17' and Allison Schnelle placed seventh with a leap of 16' 8.50". "The women did a good job today," Panther head coach Pete Corfeld said. "It's tough because we don't have any throwers, but the runners and hurdlers did an outstanding job for us." The league championships will conclude on Friday with events set to start back up at 11 a.m. |
