Additional duties at club force her to step aside

Aug. 13, 2004

MILWAUKEE - Erika Wentz has resigned as women's tennis coach at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Wentz has worked for the last 11 years at the Elite Fitness and Racquet Clubs in Brookfield, Wis., and has taken on additional responsibilities at the club. Those duties have forced her to step aside. Wentz served one year as the Panthers' head coach, compiling a 1-17 record. A search for a new coach is already underway.
