Tennis Players Honored By UWM

Awards handed out at Student-Athlete Awards Reception

MILWAUKEE - A handful of Panther tennis players were honored at the recent Student-Athlete Awards Reception.

Sophomore Molly Caulk, freshman Cassie Kuranz, and senior Kate Laveck were named scholar-athletes with distinction. That honor goes to student-athletes who have between a 3.5 and 4.0 cumulative grade point average.

Laveck was also give the Faculty Representative's Award for having the highest grade point average on the team, while Laveck and Caulk were honored for the presence on the 2000-01 MCC Academic Honor Roll.
