The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's tennis team wraps up its regular season with a pair of Horizon League home matches.

The Panthers (10-8, 2-3 Horizon) will host Cleveland State Friday at 4 p.m. before welcoming Youngstown State Saturday at noon. Both contests will be played at North Shore Elite in Glendale.

UWM will be looking to overcome a wrist injury to standout freshman Ashley Schoneman. Schoneman fell during the match last Thursday against IPFW and is not expected to return this weekend. The Panthers wound up playing short-handed in the contests with IPFW and Detroit last week, but sophomore Samantha Drews has returned to the Milwaukee roster to give the Panthers a boost.

Kari Kastenholz and Lauren Fenley each had successful weekends for the Panthers, with both players going 2-0 in singles play in a win over IPFW and a loss to Detroit. UWM also claimed the doubles point against IPFW despite defaulting one of the three matches.

Cleveland State (11-9, 2-1) had lost four of five matches before a convincing win over Wright State last Saturday. The Vikings have faced a difficult schedule of late, losing 5-2 to UIC after dropping three of four matches on a spring trip to Hawai'i. CSU's lone win on that trip was a 4-3 victory over Hawai'i-Hilo.

Youngstown State (3-10, 1-2) dropped a pair of matches this past weekend, falling 6-1 to UIC and 7-0 to Eastern Michigan. The Penguins started the spring with eight-straight losses before rallying for three-straight wins. YSU has lost 4-3 to Cleveland State, while downing Wright State, 6-1, in its other two league outings.

The matches are the final two outings before UWM will head to the Horizon League Championships, which are set for April 28-29 in Indianapolis.
