The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's tennis team returns from an extended break to take on Illinois State Sunday afternoon.

The match, which will take place at Marquette, is set for Sunday at 10 am.

The Panthers (8-6) haven't played since losing at Northern Iowa March 11. The defeat snapped a three-match winning streak for the Panthers, who have also gone 2-1 against Missouri Valley Conference foes this season.

Freshman Kelly Drvaric continues to lead the Panthers this spring, building a 7-5 record while playing mainly at #1 singles. Freshman Ali O'Neal is close behind with six wins this spring while being featured at #4 singles. Including fall contests, O'Neal leads the team with 15 wins while freshman Ashley Schoneman has 14.

Illinois State has lost three-straight matches and five of its last six, but the Redbirds (4-5) own an impressive 6-1 win over Butler earlier this season. The Redbirds are scheduled to face Marquette Saturday before squaring off with UWM Sunday.

UWM's next match is March 31 against South Dakota State in Kohler, Wis.
