Panthers Head To Iowa For Pair Of MatchesFeb. 8, 2007 MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's tennis team continues its early spring schedule with a pair of matches in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, this weekend. The Panthers (2-3), who have dropped their first three dual meets of the spring, will face Creighton at 1 p.m. Saturday before facing Coe College later that same day. Coe went 10-1 in dual meets during the fall season but will be playing its first match of the spring. Creighton, meanwhile, will play at Iowa State Friday and then square off with Coe early Saturday before taking on the Panthers. The Bluejays have split their first two matches of the spring, losing to Nebraska before sweeping past UMKC. Five different players have won singles matches so far this spring for the Panthers. But, UWM has yet to break through in nine doubles matches. UWM continues its busy spring schedule next weekend, heading to Green Bay for matches with Xavier and the host Phoenix.
