Panthers Back In Action, Head To Ft. Wayne

UWM to face IPFW, Dayton

MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's tennis team returns to action with a pair of matches Friday in Fort Wayne, Ind.

The Panthers will take on the hosts from IPFW at 8 a.m. CST before squaring off with the University of Dayton at 6 p.m. CST.

UWM is 3-3 so far this season with a pair of wins in the fall and 1-3 record this spring. Kari Kastenholz is 4-2 at #3 singles to help lead the Panthers, while Jenna Felsher tops the team with 10 wins overall. In doubles play, Kastenholz has teamed with Kelly Drvaric to capture eight overall victories.

The Mastadons have split four dual matches so far this season, beating Austin Peay and Bradley while falling to Cleveland State and Evansville. Ashley Coulson was named the Summit League Player of the Week for her performance in the win last weekend over the Braves.

The Flyers have gone 1-4 in their first five matches of the spring season. Laina Grote has three wins at #2 singles to lead the squad.
