Feb. 1, 2007

MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's tennis team heads to Indianapolis for a pair of matches this weekend.

The Panthers will play at IUPUI Saturday night before squaring off with Horizon League rival Butler on Sunday.

Milwaukee opened its spring campaign with a 6-1 loss to Marquette last weekend. Lauren Fenley claimed the lone point for the Panthers with a singles victory.

Butler, perennially one of the top teams in the Horizon League, opened its spring season with losses to Purdue and Indiana last weekend. Meanwhile, IUPUI opened the spring with wins over Chicago State and Dayton last weekend.

UWM's busy early spring schedule continues next weekend when the Panthers travel to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for contests with Coe College and Creighton.
