INDIANAPOLIS - The UWM women's tennis team saw its season come to a close at the MCC Tournament this weekend, as the Panthers fell to Wright State and Detroit in team action.

In the contest with second-seeded Wright State, UWM's Jamie Martin battled Kara Dunbar to three sets before falling 6-7 (6), 6-2, 10-2. The Raiders then swept the Panthers from there for a 7-0 win.

Later against Detroit, UWM battled before falling 4-3. The Panthers won matches at third, fifth, and sixth singles, as well as third doubles, but could not overcome the Titans.

UIC claimed the MCC championship over Butler, while Wright State finished third.
