INDIANAPOLIS - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision to the University of Illinois at Chicago Saturday in the Horizon League Women's Tennis Championship.

Inclement weather has forced the cancellation of the consolation bracket for the event, meaning Saturday's loss has ended the Panthers' season.

In fact the tournament, scheduled to be played at North Central High School in Indianapolis, has been scattered across the city because of unseasonably cold temperatures and a rain/snow mixture. Saturday's matches were played at sites that included the Indianapolis Racquet Club, the Carmel Racquet Club and the Butler University Bubble.

In Saturday's match, UWM could never get on track against top-seeded UIC. The Flames easily won the doubles point and then clinched the match by winning the first three singles matches.
