Panthers Fall to Bulldogs

UWM Tennis loses to Butler, 7-0

MILWAUKEE - The UWM tennis team fell to Butler on Sunday at St. Francis High Schol by a 7-0 count. Playing outdoors in the cold rain, the Panthers were swept in straight sets in every match by the Bulldogs.

Molly Caulk played well for UWM, losing to Olivia Pedro at second singles by a 6-1, 6-3 margin. Tammie Spiel was forced to retire in her match after suffering a pulled muscle when down 4-1 in the first set.

The Panthers will return to action on Saturday with the Horizon League Championships in Indianapolis. UWM will play two matches on Saturday with a final contest scheduled for Sunday.
