Panthers Drop Matches At Youngstown State, Cleveland StateApril 9, 2006
CLEVELAND, Ohio - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee wrapped up a busy road swing through the state of Ohio by dropping matches at both Youngstown State and Cleveland State. The Panthers fell in each match by an identical 6-1 score. Saturday in Youngstown, the Panthers earned their point by winning two of the three doubles matches. Traci Litscher and Margie Van Lieshout picked up a win at #1 doubles, while Samantha Drews and Lauren Fenley claimed a win at #3 doubles. Sunday in Cleveland, Lauren Fenley claimed the lone with for Milwaukee. She tallied 6-3, 7-5 victory over Lindsay Sellers at #4 singles, garnering the Panthers their single point. Elizabeth Angel nearly earned another point for Milwaukee, battling before falling 6-1, 2-6, 10-8 to Christine Vogelgesang at #6 singles. UWM wraps up its regular season next Friday, hosting Detroit in a Horizon League match.
