MILWAUKEE - Megan Brown won at third singles to keep the Panthers from being shut out by Detroit on Friday, as the visiting Titans took a 6-1 victory.

Brown defeated Renee Kuzava in three sets, 7-6, 2-6, 10-7, to earn her fifth win of the season. Brown wasn't the only Panther to go to three sets, as Shauna Jansen went the distance at number six singles before falling, 5-7, 6-2, 1-7.

The Panthers return to action tomorrow evening, as UIC visits for a Horizon League match. Match time is 4 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Tennis Club in Jackson, Wis.
