Panthers Roll Past Sinclair, 6-1March 21, 2006
ORLANDO, Fla. - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee downed Sinclair (Ohio), 6-1, to open its 2006 spring break trip to Florida. The Panthers won six of seven singles matches and all three doubles matches to claim the win. In fact, UWM was dominant in most of the matches. Margie Van Lieshout claimed a 6-2, 6-4 win at #1 singles while Traci Litscher captured a 6-2, 6-0 victory at #2 singles. Plus, Lauren Fenley (#4 singles), Elizabeth Angel (#5 singles) and Samantha Drews (#6 singles) claimed victories. In doubles action, all three Panther teams claimed convincing wins. Milwaukee faces SUNY-New Paltz in Orlando on Thursday.
