DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's tennis team received solid play across the board in capturing a 5-2 win over Wright State Saturday afternoon in women's tennis action.

The Panthers (6-6, 1-1 Horizon) captured the doubles point and then won four of six singles contests to snap a three-match losing streak.

In singles play, Kelly Drvaric, Sammi Schoen, Lauren Fenley and Jenna Felsher all collected straight-sets wins to push UWM over the top.

"It was a solid performance by our team and it's great to get a conference win," UWM head coach Matt McCaskill said. "With Ashley Schoneman sidelined by mono it was great to see Lauren Fenley step up. Sammi continues to play well and it was nice to see Kelly get a conference win in the number one spot."

UWM will continue its weekend road trip Sunday at IUPUI.
