MILWAUKEE - Marquette University used solid play across the board to claim a 6-1 victory over the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in women's tennis action Saturday afternoon.

Elizabeth Angel claimed the lone victory of the day for the Panthers. She tallied a 3-6, 7-5 (10-6) win over Andrea Bukacek at #5 singles.

Milwaukee's best chance to claim a second victory came at #2 doubles, where Margie Van Lieshout and Traci Litscher fell to Erin Watkins and Dominika Dabrowski, 8-5.

Next weekend, the Panthers return to action with a pair of matches, facing Western Illinois and Northern Iowa in an event hosted by UNI.
