Tammie Spiel enters her first year as an assistant coach for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee tennis program.
Spiel was a member of the UWM women's tennis team from 2001-05, playing at #1 singles throughout her career.
Her primary responsibilities with the team include monitoring the players' skill development, assisting with strength and conditioning and learning all aspects of collegiate coaching.
Spiel graduated from UWM in May of 2005 with a degree in kinesiology. She is currently employed as a tennis pro at North Shore Elite Racquet Club and Tripoli Country Club.
