MILWAUKEE - Sophomore Molly Finn of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's swimming team has been selected as the Horizon League Swimmer of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.

This marks the fourth swimmer of the week award for Finn in her Panther career, earning two as a freshman last season and two this year.

Finn helped lead the UWM women to a second-place at the Doug Coers Invitational over the weekend. She started off with a third-place effort in the 200 IM (2:12.05) before taking second in the 400 IM (4:41.80). In the final individual event of the meet, Finn won the 200 butterfly in a season-best 2:09.08

She also participated in two relays, taking second with the 200 medley and 400 medley relay teams.

Today's league honor is the sixth of the season for the UWM women. Seniors Lindsay Caldwell (Swimmer of the Week Oct. 18 and Nov. 14) and Emily Duesler (Diver of the Week Oct. 24 and Nov. 14) have the other four in addition to the other time that Finn was selected (Oct. 31) earlier this fall.
