MILWAUKEE - Senior Krystina Herzog was named the Horizon League's swimming and diving Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 10, the league office announced today. It is the first time Herzog has won the league's top weekly honor.

Herzog claimed the league's award after two first-place finishes Saturday in Chicago against UIC, Evansville and Northern Iowa. She won the 1m competition with a score of 233.15, then followed that up with a score of 265.25 on the 3m board to capture top honors there as well. Herzog also finished second on 3m against Western Kentucky on Sunday with a score 220.95.

The senior captain will lead her teammates this weekend when they travel to Normal, Ill., for a dual meet with Illinois State on Saturday. That meet is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
