Women's Swimming Fourth at Ed Kennedy Relays
Dec. 31, 2002 FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's swimming and diving team finished fourth of four teams at the 67th-annual Ed Kennedy Relays at the International Swimming Hall of Fame in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Tuesday morning. Washington was the top women's team with 274 points, easily outdistancing Delaware's 225 points, Illinois State's 213 and UWM's 204 points. The 24th-ranked Huskies won all five of the relay events, with UWM finishing fourth in each relay. Individually, Jen Kedinger and Nicole Rosinski each gathered a third-place finish on the day. Kedinger's came in the 200 meter freestyle in 2:16.62, while Rosinski was third in the 50 meter freestyle in 29.07.
The Panthers will next compete at the Time Trial 100s on Jan. 6, 2003, in Fort Lauderdale. UWM's Florida training trip continues through Jan. 10.
