EVANSTON, Ill. - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's and women's swimming and diving teams made their second trip to Evanston, Ill., in three days, and nearly came home with results identical to the weekend's first trip south. This time, for Sunday's Northwestern Relays, the women's team finished third out of five schools, while the men finished fourth out of five teams.

The women's team scored 155 points on the day, easily placing them in third behind winner Northwestern and runners-up Toledo. Louisville and UIC rounded out the field on the women's side. For the men, Northwestern collected the victory, followed closely by Toledo with Louisville in third with 157 points. UWM followed with 156 points, with UIC finishing fifth.

The women's team finished third or fourth in nearly every event on the way to their 155 points. Collecting third-place finishes for the women were the 300 breaststroke relay (Amanda Chan, Rachel Smith and Sarah Caldwell), the 400 medley relay team (Patricia Frank, Chan, Beth Watt and Nicole Rosinski), and the 400 individual medley relay team (Frank, Natalie Oettinger, Chan and Caldwell).
