COLUMBUS, Ohio - Two members of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee diving team took part in the Zone "C" Diving Championships Friday in Ohio. Women's one-meter and men's three-meter events took place today at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.

Junior Ashley Hall and sophomore PJ Rongitsch each took part after meeting qualifying standards for the meet earlier this season.

Hall placed 35th in the one-meter competition, posting a point total of 197.40. Rongitsch also took 35th, scoring 218.70 points on the three-meter board.

"Today was a learning experience," UWM diving coach Todd Hill said. "But, we have another shot at it tomorrow and hope to end the weekend on a high note."

The meet wraps up tomorrow for the Milwaukee divers with the men's one-meter and women's three-meter competitions.
