Season Concludes For Milwaukee Divers At NCAA Zone RegionalMarch 12, 2006
COLUMBUS, Ohio - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee diving team concluded its season with platform diving at the 2006 NCAA Zone 'C' Diving Qualifying Meet Sunday. Just one diver took part of the event, with junior Crystal Szymanski placing 16th overall. Szymanski scored 176.75 points in preliminaries to find herself at 17th at that point, and then moved up to 16th in the finals, finishing with 374.45 points. That point total set a new UWM school record, topping senior Erin Blemberg's 305.55 total from a year ago at the NCAA Zone Regionals. Blemberg and junior Emily Duesler did not participate in today's diving. On the men's side, senior Jeff Jasinowski did not dive today either.
