WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee was represented by three divers on the first day of the Zone 'C' Diving Regional, Friday in West Lafayette, Ind. The Panthers sent junior Erin Blemberg and sophomore Crystal Szymanski on the women's side, and junior Jeff Jasinowski represented the UWM. Day one featured the women's one-meter and men's three-meter events.

Blemberg's was Milwaukee's top first-day finisher. The junior captain, just missed out on the finals, placing 20th in the preliminaries from the three-meter board. She finished with 245.30 points to finish just outside the advancing top 18. Szymanski placed 35th in the event with a score of 188.80.

In the men's one-meter, Jasinowski finished in 22nd place for the Panthers. Another junior captain, he just missed out on the finals with his score of 228.05.

Day two gets underway on Saturday at 11 a.m. The day features the women's one-meter and men's three-meter events. Regionals come to a close on Sunday with platform diving.
