Women's Soccer Player Julie Ruma Named MCC Player of the Week

Sophomore scored first collegiate goal, adds an assist against Minnesota

Milwaukee - UWM sophomore midfielder Julie Ruma (Omaha, Neb.-Marian) has been named MCC Player of the Week, the conference office announced today.

Ruma had a hand in both UWM goals in a 3-2 loss to No. 23 Minnesota. She tallied an assist late in the second half and then scored her first collegiate goal in the second half.

The Panthers host DePaul on Wednesday night at Quad Park. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
