Panther Women's Soccer To Host Third Annual Run For The Roses

Kentucky Derby-themed fundraiser scheduled for May 6 at the Klotsche Center

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's soccer team will hold its third annual Run for the Roses benefit Saturday, May 6, in conjunction with the running of the 132nd Kentucky Derby.

The fundraiser begins at 3 p.m. at the Klotsche Center, while the race will begin at 5 p.m.

A benefit for the Milwaukee women's soccer program, the Run for the Roses will feature dinner, beverages and live jazz music. Attendees will also have the opportunity to win raffle prizes, including a 2005 Honda Metropolitan scooter, a trip for two to Las Vegas and an iPod Nano. Raffle tickets are available for $5 apiece or five for $20.
