MILWAUKEE - The UWM women's soccer team will scrimmage Northwestern and Indiana at the Illinois Tournament in Champagne, Ill. on April 13 to open up its spring schedule.

The Panthers will then play in tournaments at Purdue on April 21 and at Marquette on April 27 to continue their off-season training. Opponents also include Valparaiso and Miami (Ohio) at Purdue and UW-Green Bay at Marquette. On April 23, the Panthers will also scrimmage an F.C. Milwaukee boys team at 5 p.m. at Uihlein Soccer Park.

"We like to have as tough a schedule as possible in the spring because it's a great learning opportunity," UWM coach Michael Moynihan said. "We also use the spring season as an opportunity for everyone to get time on the field to see where they will fit in for next year."
