- The Panthers are now 2-3-4 in the Horizon League championship game and 3-1 in penalty kick shootouts. It was also UWM's first shootout loss in their last five shootouts. Milwaukee is 5-3 all-time in shootouts.

- The game goes down as a tie, extending the Panthers' unbeaten streak against Loyola to 15 (12-0-3). UWM leads the all-time series 14-1-3.

- Pam Shipway played in her 84th career, tied with Maggie Suminski for second in school history. The record is 85 by Taylor Powell. Joanna Severson played in career game No. 82, fourth-most in school history.

- Nicole Sperl pushed her season shot total to 63, sixth-most in a season in school history and just two off Cammy Polson's freshman record of 65.

- Milwaukee is now unbeaten in its last 23 overtime games (10-0-13).

- Erin Kane has still not allowed an overtime goal in her career, pushing her shutout streak to 302:28.

- Kane's nine saves are a career-high.

- UWM topped 400 shots in a season for the second time in school history.

- The Panthers finished the season 8-0-3 (.863) at home, just missing the school record for best home record (7-0-1, .875). UWM did not apply to host an NCAA Tournament game.

 

 

- Two of Nicole Hirsch's three assists this season have set up goals for high school teammates -- Sarah Talbert today and Heather Roadhouse Oct. 7.
