Erin Kane has yet to yield an overtime goal in her career, extending her overtime shutout streak to 282:28. - Milwaukee is 8-0-2 at home this season and could set a school record for home record with a win Sunday. The record is 7-1 (.875), achieved twice. - The Panthers won their 13th game of the season, tied for third-most in a season in school history. - UWM has also taken 389 shots this season, second-most in school history. - Sarah Teegarden's game-winning goal was the eighth of her career, giving her soul possession of third place in the school record books. - The goal was also the 13th of her career, tying her for ninth in school history. Teegarden also now has 129 career shots, sixth all-time. - Nicole Sperl finished with four shots, giving her 59 on the year--seventh-most in a season in school history. - Pam Shipway played in her 83rd career game, third-most in school history. She'll tie Maggie Suminski for second all-time Sunday with 84. The record is 85 by Taylor Powell.
- In 2005, the Panthers held Cleveland State without a shot in the quarterfinals and defeated Butler in double overtime in the semifinals. The similarities end there, as UWM defeated Detroit in the title game on PKs. Milwaukee will play Loyola in the championship game this year. |
