- The Panthers improved to 14-1-2 against Loyola, having not lost in the series since 1994 (12-0-2). The Ramblers' goal was also its first in the series since 2002, snapping a string of five-straight shutouts.

- Loyola's goal was just the seventh allowed by UWM this season. It has yet to allow more than one goal in a game this season.

- Milwaukee extended a number of unbeaten streaks:
* 26-0-2 in last 28 league games. UWM is 46-1-3 in league play since 2000.
* 20-0-2 in last 20 games played in October. The Panthers are 45-8-6 in the month since 2000.
* 25-0-1 in last 26 regular season home league games.

- Erin Kane has now played 5285:47 in her career, second in school history by just 68:08.

- Teegarden's goal was the first that was not a game-winner since 2005. Her last six goals had been game-winners.
