Kathy Hoverman is in her third season as a graduate assistant coach for the UWM women's soccer program. Hoverman, a former Panther goalkeeper herself, works primarily with goalkeepers.

Hoverman played for UWM from 1995-1998, and still holds UWM records for most career wins (34), shutouts (25) and saves (285) along with the single-season shutout mark of 12, which she set in 1997. She was also a three-time first-team All-MCC honoree. In addition, her goals against average of 0.58 in 1997 ranked fifth in the nation.

Hoverman has continued her playing career, most recently spending time with the Washington Freedom of the WUSA in 2002. She graduated from UWM in 2001 and is currently working towards her masters.
