Basketball Radio Shows Start Monday

Jeter, Botham shows both air from Harry's Bar and Grill

MILWAUKEE - The weekly radio shows featuring University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's basketball coach Rob Jeter and UWM women's basketball coach Sandy Botham begin this week.

"Rob Jeter on Basketball" airs Monday at 6 p.m. live from Harry's Bar and Grill on Oakland Avenue in Shorewood. The radio home of the Panther men, WISN (AM 1130), carries the show, with Bill Johnson acting as host.

Then, "The Sandy Botham Show" follows at 7 p.m. from Harry's. Botham's show airs live on the radio home of the Panther women, WOKY (AM 920). Scott Warras is the host.

Through January, the shows will continue to air live from Harry's. When students return to the UWM campus for the second semester of classes, the show will move to the Gasthaus in the UWM Union.

Most shows will air on Monday nights, with changes made when the Panthers play a game on a Monday.

This week also marks the beginning of exhibition play for both squads. The men start play Wednesday night against MSOE while the women will open play Thursday against Michigan Tech.
