Like Steph said, these late night bus rides and rap battles are highlighting our trip along with all the beautiful sites and structures.

Today we traveled to Antwerp, which is one of the biggest ports in Belgium. We walked from the port to the town square and once we got there we saw a large statue of a man holding his hand in his other hand. Our tour guide Kenny told us that a long time ago, in order to get into the city you had to pay a tax. If people didn't have enough money to pay, they would cut off their hand and throw it into the water then they could get in. The name Antwerp literally means "hand throw."

We had about two hours to tour and sight-see in Antwerp which was filled with beautiful buildings and churches, much like Brussels. Loud music filled the air when we came across basketball in the square (look, I'm rhyming without even trying!) Similar to "Gus Macker" there were tons of boys playing 3 on 3. We walked down streets filled with chocolate stores, waffles places and tons of clothing stores as Antwerp has produced many fashion designers as well as fashions around the world. It is also the diamond capital of the world.

After touring Antwerp we ate and headed to our game. We played DBC Houthalen, a professional team in Belgium's first division. It was a pretty sloppy game but we came out ahead once again 73-68!

After that we had pizza and mingled, hopped on bus to hear some jingles (rhyming AGAIN!) After (Aubri) Rote's songs and my "back up" we started rap battling. For the record, I have been the reining champ for a while now, but Steve Lautz, yes Compliance director/Assistant AD Steve Lautz, burned me, our manager Becky and creamed Coach Mo! We will never look at Steve the same way! Y'all reading this, must ask the coaches all about this, as these are some of our most memorable times here :)
