WE ARE IN EUROPE! We all can't believe that we are this far away from home! It has been an awesome experience so far even though we are running on very little sleep. Amsterdam was a real eye opener! The lifestyle and culture is so different than ours, especially with the bikers, smokers, "coffee shops," and women under red lights.

Crazy!

Then this morning, we had breakfast at the hotel and bused over to Anne Frank's house. What happened to her and her family is extremely sad. What I didn't know was that her father, Otto Frank, survived through the concentration camp's liberation. At the end of the tour there was video of him speaking about his family and his daughter's diary and his feelings towards (the diary).

After that we spent the rest of the day wandering the streets of Amsterdam. Typical tourists, we were in and out of gift shops and restaurants enjoying the culture and stopping to take pictures at almost EVERY canal, and almost getting hit by bikes, mopeds and cars every time we walked!

At about 3pm Holland time we met up and traveled to Belgium and we were stuck in rush hour traffic for about 3-4 hours! Once we got settled into our hotel in Mechelen we went to eat at a local brewery.

Tomorrow we are spending time in Brussels and playing against the Belgium U20 National Team!
