MILWAUKEE - A number of women's basketball players were honored at the recent Student-Athlete Awards Reception.

Senior Teri Stoltenberg was named the winner of the Herman Kluge Award. The award is presented annually to the top senior student-athlete. Stoltenberg was also recognized for being named to the MCC Academic All-Conference team. Janelle Jonason won the Faculty Representative's Award for having the highest cumulative grade point average on the team.

The team won the Academic Advisor's Award for having the highest team cumulative grade point average. The team was also honored for its MCC Championship and its trip to the NCAA Tournament, while coach Sandy Botham was recognized for being named MCC Coach of the Year.

A number of Panthers were also honored as scholar-athletes and as members of the 2000-01 MCC Academic Honor Roll. A complete list of those student-athletes follows.
