MILWAUKEE - UWM has organized a send-off for the women's basketball team as they leave Milwaukee for Durham, N.C., and the NCAA Tournament.

Fans are invited to meet the team at 1:45 p.m. Thursday at the UWM Union Concourse, located off Kenwood on the south end of the UWM campus. The team will depart from the Union for Mitchell International Airport at 2 p.m.

Then Saturday, fans are invited to watch the game at the Gasthaus on the lower level of the UWM Union. The game will be shown on a number of large screens. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the game scheduled to tipoff at 12:30 p.m. central time.

Saturday's game will be shown in Milwaukee on TV-41. The broadcast will also be shown nationally on ESPN's Full Court college basketball package, available on Direct TV and Dish Network systems.
