Corrin Von Wald and Daryl Schaffeld were both named to the All-MCC Second Team, the league office announced on Wednesday. Jessica Wilhite was named to the MCC All-Newcomer team and Nicole Luchsinger was named to the All-Defensive Team.

Von Wald, a MCC All-Newcomer selection as a freshman last year, ranks in the top 15 in the MCC in scoring (11.7 ppg), rebounds (5.2 rpg), field-goal percentage (.442) and free-throw percentage (.872). She is the team's leading scorer and rebounder and has recorded three double-doubles this season. She was also named to the Hawaii Invitational All-Tournament team.

This is Schaffeld's fourth nod to an All-MCC team. She holds the MCC and UWM record for most three-pointers in a career (220) and is fifth in school history in points scored (1,298). She is 20th in the MCC in scoring (10.8 ppg), fifth in assists (3.67 apg) and third in three-pointer made per game (2.22 3pfg/game).

Wihite is the fourth MCC All-Newcomer team selection in four years under coach Sandy Botham (Von Wald, '99, Teri Stoltenberg '98, Schaffeld '97). She is second on the team and 20th in the conference in scoring (10.8 ppg) and ranks sixth in three-point percentage (.377). She has scored 15 points or more in a game eight times this season.

Luchsinger, a junior, is second on the team in rebounds (4.4 rpg).

The Panthers earned the No. 2 seed in the MCC tournament and play No. 7 Cleveland State on Thursday.
