MILWAUKEE - Nicole Soulis scored 26 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay to a 65-54 win over Butler Sunday afternoon in the semifinals of the Horizon League Women's Basketball Championship at the Klotsche Center.

The Phoenix (22-7), the top seed in the tournament, will face the winner of Sunday's second semifinal between the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Detroit Monday at 6 p.m. CST.

Abby Scharlow added 14 points and Mary Kulenkamp 10 for UWGB, which shot 52.8 percent from the field.

Nancy Bowden led the Bulldogs (14-15) with 17 points, six assists and four steals, but Butler could not overcome 32.3 percent shooting for the game. Ellen Hamilton added 12 points while Cortney Urquhart pitched-in with six points and 10 rebounds for Butler.

The Phoenix led throughout the contest, grabbing an early 13-point lead as Butler made just one of its first 20 shots. UWGB led by 10 points at the half before the Bulldogs rallied to within 43-39 with 11:50 remaining in the game. But the Phoenix quickly restored their lead to double figures with a 12-4 run and never looked back.
