Game Time Changed For Women's League Semifinals
Complete Release in PDF Format March 5, 2004 MILWAUKEE - The game times for the 2004 Horizon League Women's Basketball Championship semifinals have been changed by the league office this morning (Friday, Mar. 5). The two semifinal games, which will take place at the Klotsche Center on the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus, will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday (Mar. 7). UWM, the No. 2 seed, will now play at 4:30 p.m. instead of the originally published 2:00 p.m. start. The Milwaukee-Detroit game will follow the UW-Green Bay-Butler game which will begin at 2:00 p.m. The winners of the two games will advance to Monday's (Mar. 8) title game which is set to tipoff at 6:00 p.m. The title game winner receives the league's automatic berth into the 2004 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament. Sunday's Horizon League Tournament semifinal game versus Detroit can be heard live on WMCS 1290-AM or by visiting the Official UWM Athletic Website, www.uwmpanthers.com. Monday's game will be televised live on WMLW-TV in the Milwaukee area beginning at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are still available for the semifinals and finals with prices set for $12 for reserved seats, $10 for general admission, and $8 for students.
