Wolfpack Invitational

Recap |  Box Score |  Notes

UWM acting head coach Sheila Roux on the difference in the game:

"It just comes down to us missing shots in the second half. Even in the first, we missed a lot of close shots. If we hit another three or four of those, we're up at half and it's a different ball game ... a different mentality."

Roux on the second half:

"In the second half we kind of got a little tired. I think fatigue set in a little bit and we didn't make some smart decisions. There was about a 4-to-6 minute stretch where we just weren't clicking. We were tired and we were trying to rotate as many people as we could. We need to do a better job of keeping our composure when we are tired."

Roux on turnovers:

"From day one of the exhibition season until the last day of the year, that will be a focus for us. Turnovers have kind of been an Achilles heel for us the past few years, so I would like to see a positive assist-to-turnover ratio after every game [it was 17-13 today]. We did a much better job of the way we took care of the ball."
