- UWM is now 14-3 against Chicago State all-time, including 10-2 against the Cougars since the Panthers moved to Division I and a 6-0 record at CSU.

- This was the first event ever at the Jones Convocation Center.

- The Panthers are 1-0 for the first time since defeating Northern Illinois 66-52 to start the 2001-02 season.

- Their 88 points are a school record for a season-opener, having previously scored 77 in 1995-96. The all-division record was 84 to open the 1982-83 season.

- The last freshman to score double-digits in a season-opener was Turquoise McCain. She scored 14 points at Oklahoma to start the 2005-06 season. Jineen Williams made her debut with 13.

- Aubri Rote's six 3-pointers are tied for the sixth-most in a game in school history. Her .857 shooting is the fourth-best three-point percentage in school history.

- UWM had two 20-point scorers for the first time since Traci Edwards (23) and Nichole Drummond (22) topped 20 points at Butler Feb. 11, 2006.

- The Panthers have scored 80-or-more points in four of their last five games dating back to last season. The one game they were held under 80 points, they scored 79.

Traci Edwards Notes:
- Edwards posted the first 30-point game in a season-opener in the team's Division I history.

- It was also her 23rd-straight double-digit scoring game, extending her own school record, and fifth-straight 20-point game, tying a school record she already shared.

- She moved up to 10th in school history in career scoring at 1,145 points. Edwards is just seven points back of ninth place and eight back of eighth.

- Her 30-point game also extended her school record of career 30-point games to four.

 

 

- The game was the 57 double-digit scoring game, 28th 20-point outing, 29th double-double and 30th double-digit rebounding game of her career.
