Schleis, Bohler Named Academic All-LeagueMILWAUKEE, Wis. (June 27, 2007) - Sophomore Adam Schleis and junior Justin Bohler of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's track and field team were named to the Horizon League Academic All-League team, the league office announced today. Both athletes earned the honor after the indoor season, as well. The duo helped the Panthers to their fourth-straight league outdoor championship and eighth-straight league title overall. Schleis successfully defended his league 110m hurdles crown at the league championships in May, setting a league record in the process. On top of that, he garnered all-league second team honors in the long jump. Earlier in the year, he tied the school record in the 110m hurdles, running a time of 14.45. A history major, he boasts a 3.366 grade point average. Bohler was runner-up to Schleis in the 110m hurdle event to earn himself league second team honors. It was one of three events he competed in, while he also scored in the javelin with a fourth-place showing. He is a civil engineering major with a 3.297 GPA.
