Waldhart Tabbed Scholar-Athlete Of The Week Once Again

MILWAUKEE - Junior Jeremy Waldhart of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's swimming team has once again been named the U.S. Army Horizon League Scholar-Athlete of the Week, the league office announced today. This marks the second-consecutive week he has been selected for the honor this season and the third occasion in his career. Waldhart won both the 100 and 200 backstroke events against North Dakota and UIC this past Saturday, winning the 100 back in 53.38 and the 200 back in 1:55.80. He also placed third in the 200 IM at the meet, finishing ahead of all entries from the Fighting Sioux. In the classroom, he carries a 3.95 GPA as a business major and has been named to the Dean's List every semester. In addition, he has been selected for the Academic Winter All-Horizon League Team and was named ESPN The Magazine Second Team Academic All-District last spring. He continues with a busy weekend next in Indianapolis, Ind., swimming against IUPUI, Xavier and Saint Louis Friday and Saturday.
