MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been named Academic All-Americans by the College Swim Coaches Association of America. This marks the 30th-consecutive semester the women's team has made the list, while the men's team extended their streak to five straight semesters.

The men's team finished the fall semester with a team grade point average of 2.964 to place them 30th on the list. The Panther men were the highest team listed from the Horizon League and were one of two league teams to make the list with UW-Green Bay being the others.

The women's team closed out the fall semester with a cumulative grade point average of 3.089, placing them 69th on the list. The women were also one of three Horizon League teams to appear on the list, with Butler and UW-Green Bay also being named. Butler topped this year's list.

"Consistency is a key in any endeavor," Panther head coach Dave Clark said. "When that consistency is also of the highest quality, as our men and women's teams have been academically, that really makes for something special."

UWM finished the year with the women finishing third in the Horizon League and the men finishing fifth.
