2000-2001: Conference champion in the 200 freestyle...finished eighth in the 50 and eleventh in the 100 freestyles at the MCC Championships...was a member of the conference champion 400 freestyle relay team, as well as the second-place 800 freestyle, fourth-place 200 medley, and fourth-place 200 freestyle relay teams...won the 100 and 200 freestyles at the Wheaton Invitational, and was subsequently named MCC Swimmer of the Week for the week of December 5...worked hard in the classroom as well, earning a spot on the Academic All-Conference Team. 1999-2000: Won the 50 freestyle and took second in the 200 freestyle at the MCC Championships...Set three freshman records in the 50 (21.01), 100 (26.24), and 200 freestyle...his 1:40.97 time in the 200 free also set a school record...was a member of the conference champion 200 medley relay team...Also swam as a member of the conference champion, school and MCC record-setting, 200 and 400 freestyle relays...Named MCC Newcomer of the Year and the team's Rookie of the Year after the season.
